Here is the first, long look at the brand-new Terminator Genisys movie. Take a look at new face of Sarah Connor, a new John Connor and new Kyle Reese, but the Terminator remains the same. It's actually pretty fun.

Honestly, this trailer is much, much, much better than we anticipated. It hits all the marks for a Terminator movie: An implied massive action scene, John Connor with the most ridiculous future facial scar you've ever seen, a robot with a gun, sepia-toned future worlds, vague but important speeches about saving humanity, Terminator hands, and the classic, "Come with me if you want to live" line. So yeah, we're all good here.

Still not sure how we feel about Sarah Connor being raised by a Terminator the whole time. And we're still really uncomfortable with an entire recasting of this classic cast, but Arnold stays the same? Feels odd, but not sure how they would do it any other way. Snaps to Emilia Clarke for pulling off that moment, it was pretty badass.

Overall, the trailer looks silly and fun and explodey, and that's good! We will give it that. It makes us want to see the movie, as opposed to dreading it.
