This is the inside of the Super Guppy, a wide-bodied cargo aircraft that most recently transported a composite rocket fuel tank. The Super Guppy has a hinged nose that opens to allow large cargo — like the rocket fuel tank — to be loaded and unloaded easily.

The tank was manufactured at the Boeing Developmental Center in Tukwila, Washington, and was shipped via the Super Guppy for testing at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
