The F-16 is a plane from the 1970s—there was no YouTube then!—but judging from this photo, it’s straight outta 2170.
The Air Force snapped this pic of an F-16 refueling from a massive KC-135 Stratotanker over Iraq. Is it being piloted by a robot? Where is the sky? Since when does the Air Force use Instagram? I’m looking forward to this new era of faux vintage war photography that may or may not have been photoshopped with old Metal Gear Solid screenshots. [Flickr]
