Sony’s DCR-DVD100 isn’t the only camcorder that will record straight to 3-inch DVD-R and DVD-RW discs. Panasonic’s new VDR-M30 can as well, and comes with a SecureDigital memory card slot for storing still images. Could this mark the beginning of the end for videotape?
