The Comcast-NBC Takeover Might Come With Some Interesting Conditions, Like Net Neutrality

Comcast is buying a majority stake in NBC. Obviously, that raises some sticky questions for regulators, mixing up a cable/internet providers with a producer of content, particularly in this age of internet video. So the FCC is considering a bevy of conditions to approve the deal—like "program access" rules to keep Comcast from withholding NBC programming from competitors or net neutrality conditions. [NYT]

I don't get why so many people hate Comcast. I've used their Internet/TV serivice for many years now, with very few problems.

Seriously, I can't remember the last time I had an Internet or TV issue (not counting trying to find closed captioning on digital channels using an older receiver, which I assume would have happened no matter which service I used).
