We’ve discovered the hard way that there are no T-1 lines in the hotel rooms here at Euro Disneyland. So updates are courtesy of the WiFi LAN they’ve set up here at Mobius in the conference room.
So far we’ve gotten a look at some of the new Smartphones that are coming up, including the Compal AR11, which uses a concept design from Texas Instruments; Samsung’s i600, which, contrary to rumors, confirms that Samsung will be making a handset running Smartphone; MiTAC’s Mio 8380, a nice-looking flip phone with a built-in digital camera; the Electra, which is a reference design from Intel for a Smartphone with a 300 MHz processor, a considerable step up in power for a cellphone; and the HTC Tanager, otherwise known as the Orange SPVx, which will be the follow-up to the SPV.
