The video game console price war continues: the retail price of both the Xbox and the PlayStation 2 is set to drop to $179 soon. Sony’s also going to introduce a new PlayStation 2 that comes bundled with a network adapter, a built-in IR adapter for a remote control, and enhanced DVD playback that will retail for $199.
