Geohot, the hacker behind a number of iOS jailbreaks and the target of Sony's legal team after hacking the PS3 a few years back has turned his sights toward Android and the notoriously tough to crack Samsung Galaxy S5. His newest exploit will give you unfettered access to the depths of your device, and it also works on the Note 3 and the recently released LG G3. Have at it. [Geek]

"The Galaxy S5 (and Other Android Phones) Are Easier to Root Than Ever" —- On what grounds do you say this? Just because this particular tool is super easy to use, it doesn't mean that these phones are easier to root than ever. Easier to root than ever would mean that there were a dozen other readily available ways to root the device besides this one bug based attack. Once this glitch is closed up these phones are likely to be harder to root than ever unless a bunch of other issues are found. Everything points to the opposite of what you say being true, so that is really what makes this exploit special right now.
