Great news! Javier Grillo-Marxuach, creator of last year’s coolest show, The Middleman, has joined the staff of NBC’s post-apocalyptic drama Day One. Now we’re way more excited for the show, in which the residents of the same Van Nuys, CA apartment building cope with the end of days.
Show creator Jesse Alexander twittered the other day:
Just hired Javier Grillo-Marxuach, Erik Oleson, and Angela Kang as writers on DAY ONE! More announcements soon!
And Grillo-Marxuach just confirmed on his Facebook page that he’s joining the show as co-executive producer.
