It actually happened. The Kickstarter not only resurrected the show, but there was o much support (and cash!) for the beloved puppets-makin’-fun-of-cheesy-movies that Netflix has acquired the new series. But that may not be all.

The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Jonah Ray will be the new host, Felicia Day and Patton Oswalt the new Mads, and Hampton Yount and Baron Vaughn as the new voices of the ‘Bots. But then they also say this:

Mary Jo Pehl (Pearl Forrester), Bill Corbett (Crow T. Robot) and Kevin Murphy from the original cast will reprise their roles in the new series.

I don’t know what this means. Maybe they’ll cameo in the first episode? Maybe they’ll begin the episode, then there’ll be a massive time-jump and everyone will be different? We’ll update as soon as we know more.

The new series will debut on Netflix “in the not too distant future.” Naturally.

Update: We have answers, thanks to! Bill is joining the writing staff! And he, Mary Jo Pehl, and Kevin Murphy will make guest appearances as Brain Guy, Pearl Forrester, and Professor Bobo. I smell time travel shenanigans!

My heart is bursting with excitement. As if someone was TRYING TO KILL ME WITH A FORKLIFT!!!
