This looks to be a conceptual/functional (pardon the paradox) implementation of a modern day sundial watch. The brainchild of Designer Gina Reimann, The Orbit allows you to tell the time the way the ancient Greeks did... well, sort of. An integrated compass tells you which way to face, and the sun then casts a shadow, telling you the time. If there is no sun, integrated LEDs then mimic the sun's position and shine a light in the required direction. To make things a little more poetic, there's also a digital display of world time - a hypothetical international time without time zones.
Of course, by conceptual I meant that this thing doesn't actually exist at all. -DP
