At 3.3 pounds and just 0.87-inches thick, the Scribbler SC1000 is somewhat smaller than its predecessor, the SC800, but still manages to squeeze in a 12-inch LCD screen (the SC800’s is just 10-inches), 512MB of RAM, a 30GB hard drive, built-in 802.11b, and a 1GHz Transmeta processor.
