The last important casting decision in the Hunger Games franchise rests with Finnick Odair, the flirty red head who kills with a trident and wears nothing but a fisherman's net when he's representing District 4 in the parade for the 3rd Quarter Quell Hunger Games. He's bold, charming, and super-sexy. So who does Hollywood want to play him? The same people they want to play everything, apparently.
E!Online is reporting that Armie Hammer, Taylor Kitsch, and Garrett Hedlund are names the studio is pushing around for Catching Fire, the second book in the Hunger Games series.
Our two cents? Give the part to Armie Hammer. He can actually emote, and he's damn good at it. Plus, he oozes that self-assured charisma needed for Finnick. We're sad Jesse Williams didn't make the list, but remember — every studio exec in Hollywood is blood-bound to consider Hedlund and Kitsch for important genre roles thanks to the deal with the Devil their agents made in 1876.
