Well just about a million people wrote in today regarding the unveiling of the Tungsten C, Palm’s long-rumored new handheld which comes with integrated WiFi. The Tungsten C has a 400MHz processor, 64MB of RAM, and a built-in keyboard, and if they can get the price below $400 soon (its $499 now), this could be the first Palm in a long while to actually win some defectors over from the Pocket PC camp. Something like this has been long overdue; for the past year Palm-powered handhelds have simply been languishing, while Pocket PCs just keep getting cheaper and more powerful.
