Some more details on that $99 personal video player that HandHeld Entertainment claims they’re putting out this October. It’s called the ZVUE! and it’ll have a 2.5-inch color display, a USB 2.0 port for file-transfers, and play videos stored on SecureDigital and MultiMediaCards, and also play MP3s. Unfortunately, it looks like they’re using their own proprietary video codec called HHE, which means the ZVUE! won’t play MPEGs or DivX files, and that the only videos you’ll be able to watch on it are probably ones you’ll have to buy from them.
