Mark Frauenfelder of BoingBoing takes a first look at SmartDisplay for TheFeature. SmartDisplay is sort of like a portable, wireless-enabled monitor. They’re kinda like a crippled Tablet PC without the internal hard drive or powerful processor, and they can’t function at all when they’re out of range of their base computer. Mark pretty much likes it, but he points out another limitation of SmartDisplay that really kills what limited appeal it does have: you can’t watch video clips on it.
