The era of live action Disney villains continues on! Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, Cate Blanchett as the Evil Step Mother — and now a brand new Cruella De Vil flick. Let’s just hope they keep the song (because it is awesome).
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the next Disney character to get a big live-action film adaptation will be the lady with a taste for fur, Cruella De Vil! No word on when this movie will take place, but the actress will have some big shoes to fill, thanks to Glenn Close (who played this villain in the flesh many years ago. The title is Cruella, and that’s all we know thus far. CAN’T WAIT. Do Urusula next, please!
