You’ve waited a long time for Firefly action figures… and now you’re probably going to wait a little bit longer. Entertainment Earth has revealed the first pics of Funko’s retro-style, Re:Action Firefly figures, and something less than good. But don’t despair, because there’s still hope!
While I like the Re:Action line in theory, especially for older series that have already had oodles of toys made of them, the classic Kenner Star Wars 3 3/4-inch style does not seem to be doing Mal, Wash, Jayne, Zoe and Kaylee any favors here. Check ’em out:

Is Wash blond? Yeesh. Zoe’s pretty great, though.
But that’s the bad news. The good news is that Funko is still making a realistic 6-inch Firefly action figure line, which will probably be similar to its Game of Thrones figures. So there’s no need to freak out, unless you’re one of those people that need to buy everything with the Firefly logo on regardless of its quality. In which case these figures are $10 each, come out in April and you can pre-order them here.
