Thinology Laser Cut Furniture

By

Reading time 1 minute

Designer Ronen Kadushin’s collection of furniture, called “Thinology” is lovingly made, he describes,

…with a technique of forcing by hand a laser cutout of sheet steel to form a three-dimensional object, while it does not break or ‘forget’ its flat origin.

The table pictured, called the Low Square Dance, is made from a single sheet of laser-cut, painted steel. Other pieces in his Thinology collection include the Hole in One chair and On Course fruit bowl. More pictures from Ronen after the jump, including one I thought was particularly adorable entitled Reality TV. (Not part of Thinology, note.)
