This Is the Nintendo 3DS Display Under the Microscope

Tech-On! has put the 3D display of the Nintendo 3DS under the microscope. This is the LCD matrix, showing the RGB sub-pixels arranged vertically instead of horizontally.

When the user turns on the 3D view, the parallax barrier gets activated, dividing the image in the stereo version.
