It might be a little hard to see, but this is a design for an improved post-it note. The paper is made from wood waste and the end of the note ends in a triangle to prevent the corners from fraying.

I've used many a post-it in my time and those damn bottom corners always seem to curl up. It's unavoidable! This new take on the classic sticky note, called the IE-Tags, from Shibuya-based Naruse-Inokama Architects, hopes to fix that problem by removing the corners from the equation. They look like little houses but I think it could work. [Core77]

I never had a problem with corner curl. I do have a problem with the whole post it note not staying flat. For example, stick a post it note to the wall. The adhesive part stays flat on the wall (duh), but the other end always strays away. The only solution is to tape that end down, which doesn't look pretty. I want a stiffer post it note that stays flat.
