The Russian Space Agency published this stunning video a few weeks ago, showing how a Soyuz spacecraft dedocks at the International Space Station—from the perspective of the spacecraft.

The sped-up footage below was shot on November 1, 2013, and shows the redocking maneuvers of the Soyuz TMA-09M spacecraft from Research Module “Rassvet” to Service Module “Zvezda.” Tomorrow, Russian cosmonaut Gennady Padalka will perform the same operation in order to prepare the place for the new ISS crew arriving from the Baikonur cosmodrome.
