In addition to our gadget-seeking powerhouse Joel Johnson, we’re thrilled to announce that Josh Rubin will be guest-blogging all week here at Gizmodo. Josh is the VP for Product Development at Upoc Networks, a mobile messaging company whose applications include group chat, picture messaging and marketing solutions for multiple platforms. Josh worked for Motorola as a lead designer for 2 years, where he developed next generation cell phone interfaces. His expertise is in defining experience paradigms and creating navigation and text entry solutions. He was responsible for the design of the first Linux based phone-PDA hybrid. A series of handsets based on his work will appear in mid-2004. Before joining Motorola, Josh was the Design Director for Mobile Solutions at Razorfish.
Josh also maintains his own site which covers cool hunting, technology and photography.
