Humanity has done a reasonably solid job investigating the land, the oceans, and the sky, but in Mark Millar’s new comic Chrononauts, two fun-loving geniuses begin exploring the time-stream with a few people looking over their shoulder — namely, a live television audience.
With art by The Wake’s Sean Gordon Murphy, Image Comics’ Chrononauts tells the adventure of this modern-day Lewis and Clark, and whether they can restrain from altering history for the betterment of mankind… or their own personal gain. Here’s the first preview of the first comic — well, the first preview that has actual dialogue in it, and isn’t just Murphy’s excellent art. It may seem a little disjointed, but come on! It’s time travel! If you mess with the timestream, you gotta expect some issues like that…
