In another bad sign for the company’s future prospects, TiVo is pulling out of the UK. Now Britons who want a personal video recorder are going to have to buy a PC with Windows XP Media Center Edition, like HP’s Media Center PC. Or else figure out how to hack TiVos and ReplayTVs sold in the US so that they’ll work in the UK.
