Technically, the Prime price hike doesn’t go into effect until April 17, but since new members get a mandatory 30 day free trial, anybody who signs up after today will be charged after the price changes to $99. If you can’t decide just yet, you’ll still have a a few weeks to send yourself a gift subscription at the old rate, but signing up the proper way gets you a free month, so that’s our recommendation.
