Tom Tom is kind of like the TiVo of GPS units. They did everything right at the outset, they make a nice product, and they don’t get the props they should. Oh well. That’s the way the electronics cookie crumbles. Anyway, the Tom Tom One is an updated version of the original unit, a bit smaller, and it is now Bluetooth-enabled. Same selection of voices, same SD card slot for map updates, slightly improved OS/interface. Want it? You can’t have it unless you live in the Benelux area—a place that consists of all those socialist countries where you can drink good beer and get coddled by the state until you die. AND they get the Tom Tom One first. 399 Euro, might show up in the States next year.
