Toshiba has announced its second Apri robot, the ‘ApriAttend,’ a taller version of the ApriAlpha that is designed to help people around the house. It has no arms but can scream, as well as recognize voice commands from multiple users and follow its owner around in crowds, using image recognition. Both models are being shown at the Expo 2005, in Aichi, Japan.
