You can’t get them at your local retailer, but Toshiba’s 10, 20, and 60GB Gigabeat audio players are available through exporter AudioCubes. There are several words one might use to describe the Gigabeat series, amongst them: “QVGA screen,” “reasonable battery life,” and, “oppressively expensive.” The ‘economy model’ F10 starts at a budget-busting $400, while the 60GB heavyweight tips breaks the scale at $730. They look like potentially pretty cool units, but you’ll get more bang for your buck just about anywhere else.
