A couple of new laptops from Toshiba, the ultralight R100 (pictured at right), which weighs in at 2.4 pounds and has a 12.1-inch screen, a 1GHz processor, 256MB of RAM, a 40GB hard drive, and built-in 802.11b; and the M100, which weighs 4.4 pounds, and also has a 12.1-inch screen, a 1.2GHz processor, 256MB of RAM, built-in 802.11b, and a DVD-ROM drive.
