Touch Sensitive Coin Block Lamp Will Eventually Pay For Itself, Right?

Given they provided Mario with an unending supply of currency during his quests, I’m going to assume this interactive replica of the game’s coin blocks do the same in real life, and aren’t just limited to authentic sound effects.

So even though each one will set you back $75, with enough taps you should collect enough coinage to recoup the cost—assuming you can find a bank willing to exchange them.

And while not exactly like the game, every eight times you tap the underside of the block—turning the LED light on and off—you’ll be rewarded with a 1-up sound effect. Just don’t think you’ll be impervious to any death-defying stunts afterwards. [Etsy via Nerd Approved]
