Soccer fanatics will snap up this TrendNet hotspot detector, a $68 USB 2.0 adapter that not only sniffs out WiFi hotspots but connects you to them at the same time. Festooned with an arty-looking soccer motif, the TrendNet TEW-429UB has an LCD screen that shows you signal strength and type of encryption present, and its lithium-ion battery starts charging as soon as you plug it into a USB 2.0 port. It supports 64/128-bit WEP & WPA/WPA2 Encryption and connects to WiFi 802.11b/g signals.
