Probably because the new Treo 600’s are due out in a couple of months, Handspring’s dropped the price of the Treo 270 to just $50 with new service activation. Worth considering if you don’t want to wait a few months for the Treo 600 or don’t want to cough up the $400 or $500 it’s expected to retail for.
