Now while I ,by no means consider myself a Mac or iPod fanboy, I do definitely love my iPod, but the battery is one problem that is slowly creeping up on my baby. My third generation iPod is only lasting a few hours of playtime now compared to the seven or eight I was getting when new. The folks over at TruePower seem to have the new ultimate iPod battery and they are even offering it for a decent price. They are claiming to get anywhere from 20%-70% increase in battery capacity. The nice feature is that all of the batteries do include a two year warranty. The third and fourth generation battery replacements are $29, while the first and second generation battery kits are $39. If anyone picks this up, drop us a line about how much it actually improved.
