A couple of new two megapixel ultracompact digital cameras from Sony. The DSC-U30 is basically just the DSC-U20, with one small “improvement”: a convex mirror on the front so you can see what you look when taking a self-portrait. And the DSC-U60 (pictured at right), Sony’s first “ruggedized” outdoor camera, has a waterproof case and is designed to be used one-handed. The assumption is that you’ll be using the DSC-U60 while participating in extreme sports and won’t have both hands free to take a picture. We’re not making this up.
