Fazal Majid wants to know why Americans are becoming “second-class citizens” in the world of personal electronics, as many products are now shipping with less features in US models than in European or Asian markets (such as Sony’s PEG-TH55 Cli PDA and its lack of Bluetooth). He asks a very good question: if the US is the world’s single largest market for consumer goods, why are we getting short shrifted?
