In one of the least spectacular hacks I’ve seen in a while, someone has figured out how to fool Sony’s EyeToy camera into working on a regular PC by massaging drivers for a different D-Link webcam. Of course, it would have been nice of Sony to release PC drivers in the first place, since they’d still be making money from Eye Toy sales, and end-users would get twice the value.
