Verizon is playing catch up with today’s announcement that they’ll be picking up the XV6600, their rebrand of the HTC smartphone, MDA III, PPC6601, et al. It’ll retail at $550 and that’s with a two year agreement, so while it’s expensive it isn’t quite as steep as Sprint’s PPC6601 at $630. It’s the same hardware, so your Bluetooth, VGA screen, et cetera, are all in place. Verizon: Bringing you yesterday’s phones today.
