Uh oh. I didn’t know this was possible: Verizon has released a phone I want. The Samsung SCH-i730 is a WIndows Mobile device that has not only an EV-DO radio (I love me some EV-DO) but also Wi-Fi, which many thought Verizon would remove for fear they might not squeeze every last testicle dollar from their subscribers. It’s $600 and only available to business customers at the moment, but it’s lovely.
I’ve already got Verizon for EV-DO service with the PCMCIA card. I wonder if they’d let me add the phone service on, too? I might just have to see.
