VH1’s new scripted TV series Hindsight appears to be made entirely out of old I Love the ’90s jokes, and we’re TOTALLY OKAY with that.
Time-traveling back into your past body with your future brain is a tried-and-true trope that delivers both joy and nostalgia. And if that means dusting off a few Ace of Base CDs in the process, then more power to this new TV show.
The premise is pretty simple: Girl mysteriously travels back to 1995 in hopes of fixing her life. The rest is all ’90s rememberist nonsense and hot sex, so thank you and good night. Knee-high socks! Clogs! 1995 forever, bitches. Let’s just hope she remembers to buy stock in Apple. Hindsight will premiere on January 7th.
