Representatives for Virgin Electronics confirmed today that the company is closing down. Market Analysts are pinning the blame on Virgin’s inability to set themselves apart from the rest of the digital music pack, and they’re not half wrong. Between lack of market presence, dwindling support from parent company Virgin Group and no real innovation, this was really only a matter of time. Effective immediately, all of Virgin’s product lines are discontinued, though warranties on previously purchased devices will still be honored.
