As much as I’d like to be cynical about the Vodafone Future Site, I have to admit being taken in by the slick Flash presentation of ‘near future’ communication devices designed to enhance entertaining, working, belonging, and, yes, caring. I especially liked the ePaper overlaid with a AIM-like buddy list—showing a map of London with the physical location of each of the buddies and information about the bars and clubs they were in—even though the acting is embarrassingly bad. (Unless that’s just how cool kids talk in the UK now, in which case, my apologies, love.) [Thanks, Nick!]
