Warner Music apparently thinks that CDs are like, so last month. They’re going to be launching a new “e-label” service where artists release “clusters of songs every few months.” Instead of having a hit CD, now artists can have hit clusters. Sounds so fun. Execs are trying it out in test groups currently and really have no plans for a release to the general public yet. Keep an eye out for this, though, because it’s going to be so great to get clumps of Hilary Duff songs every morning instead of what I get during my usual four-minute bowel movement.
