Not sure which virtual assistant/life-partner to entrust with your personal well-being? PhoneBuff newest videos should make that choice at a least a little easier, showing you 50 different commands using both Apple's Siri (above) and Google's Google Now (below).

Watching the two videos, it's easy to get a sense of each voice assistant's strengths and weaknesses, and the differences between the two are almost as surprising as the similarities.

Though Siri's been in her current form for a while, the video does a great job of showcasing some of her lesser-know talents. For instance, did you know that you can ask Siri what someone's been tweeting about lately? Or even find out where your friends are physically at that moment? And boy does Siri ever have jokes. There have been more articles and videos highlighting Siri's "funnier" (we use the term loosely) side than we care to consider, but as the video shows, the fact that Apple's engineers have kept that sense of humor consistent even when it comes to Siri's more obscure powers is pretty damn impressive.

Of course, Google Now has the benefit of Google's gargantuan breadth of knowledge, so you can do things like import pictures from your Gmail account and check Amazon package tracking info. Google Now even has incredibly handy location-based reminders and is able to check your TV schedule to remind you when shows or actors will be on. Of course, it is no where near as sassy as our friend Siri—but then Google Now's actual voice sounds far more natural and carries less of a HAL9000-I-might-kill-you-in-your-sleep-vibe. Still, either way, you're going to look like an idiot talking to your phone—and that's something no one can ever take away. [PhoneBuff]
