We love ourselves some Studio Ghibli around these parts, so it breaks our heart to see this unused pitch for a Ghibli-helmed Little Nemo in Dreamland. The studio’s animators put it together in 1984, but Ghibli never developed the project in full.
A Japanese Little Nemo movie was released in 1989, but we would have love to have seen this Nausicaäfied Nemo.
