By this point Google's new Nexus 7 is a foregone conclusion; hell, you can already preorder it from Best Buy. But if you're into official announcements—and are curious what Google serves for breakfast—you can watch the drama unfold live here, starting at noon Eastern, nine Pacific.

If you simply can't spare the time, here's a quick roundup of what's going to be announced. The new Nexus 7, per Best Buy and other leaks, has a 1920 x 1200 (323ppi) display, 2GB of RAM, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 8064 processor with Adreno 320 graphics, and new 5-megapixel rear camera. It'll start at $230. It will run Android 4.3, which will be a pretty boring update. It will look like a tablet.
