Below are four live video feeds from locations all over Jamaica.

Hurricane Melissa, a storm with the potential to be the strongest hurricane ever to strike Jamaica, is expected to make landfall at around 6 a.m. local time on Tuesday—with the central and western half of the country likely to bear the brunt.

Forecasts say life-threatening flash floods and winds up to 175 miles-per-hour are possible throughout Tuesday in the island nation. This slow-moving storm is an ongoing threat, and if you’re in need of emergency information, regular updates are available at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Hurricane Center website.
For non-emergency purposes, you can also see what storm conditions are like right this second by watching webcams. Full-time webcams are often set up by hobbyists, sightseeing agencies, and realtors. Whatever the original purpose may have been, any live video feed can become a valuable resource during storms and other disasters, and thankfully the necessary video equipment can stay put while its owner heads for safety.

This live feed usually shows ships along the waterfront in Kingston.

This article has been updated to remove feeds in St. Elizabeth, Manchester, and Little London because they were no longer streaming live video.
