Clearly I’m not the only one who has thought it would be really cool to be able to choose from some 4GB of MP3s while cruising the lake on the old Seadoo. H2O Audio thought the same thing, and rather than wistfully staring into space, hoping the day might soon come in which portable audio players come waterproofed from the factory, they did something about it. Specifically, they created something called the SV-iMini, which I’ll concede isn’t a very good name, but its function? Noble indeed. It encloses your iPod Mini with a waterproof case, and even includes a waterproof headset. Not a bad investment at $150. The manufacturer is taking orders now, though units won’t be shipping until the first week of December. They also have waterproof cases for iRiver players, in case you have one of those.
