After last week’s haunting teaser, Warner Bros. has lifted the lid properly on Zach Cregger’s next movie, Weapons–and if you thought those kids running around at the dead of night were already creepy, well, things are about to get so much worse.

This morning the studio released the first full trailer for Weapons, building on last week’s tease establishing the premise that, at exactly 2.17am on a Wednesday morning, an entire class of schoolkids mysteriously vanished, dragging themselves out of bed and running into the night. All missing from just a single class at the local school, suspicions begin to swirl around the class’ teacher, Mrs. Gandy (Fantastic Four‘s Julia Garner), but when the kids make a sudden return, it becomes very clear, very quickly, that Mrs. Gandy and the whole town alike have no idea what’s really going on.

Hordes of ceaselessly running kids, creepy faces, mystery vomit, it’s got it all–it’s a very intense first proper look at the film, one that leaves you with a ton of questions as well as a heaping pile of unsettling imagery. We’re dying to know more–although we suspect we won’t get to learn much more about these creepy kids before Weapons hits theaters August 8.
