This spot is for the ‘Welcome, Mac OS X Tiger Users’ message that we would have put up, presuming that Apple would have added our feed to Safari RSS’s site list. I’m pretty bummed, but since none of the other small sites whose logos are on the Safari web page are in the list, I’m holding on to hope that Apple decided not to swamp the smaller sites in new traffic. We could have handled it, of course—we even bought a new hamster for the webserver’s power supply—but oh well.
Om ciphered that Safari would have added about 1.4TB a month in RSS traffic to sites listed.
